With Spurs generally having been a bit sluggish about releasing new kit designs, this year has been little different, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United all having released images of their new kits this week whilst Spurs fans have been given the distant and vague date of early July [Edit: see new date update at bottom of article]. It can only be good news, then, that Under Armour seem to have revealed their plans for the second and third kits in a promotional video this week, to go with the home shirt design leaked earlier in the week. Pictures of all three potential kit designs for the 12/13 season are after the jump.
The home shirt, if indeed correct, is a tasteful stripped back number, predominantly white with some grey detail on the side.
The away shirt is a rather tasty looking dark blue, with a strange-looking chevron pattern on the reverse. Although shown with current sponsor Autonomy, their sponsorship deal expired at the end of the current season, so it’s likely that their logo has simply been used as a placeholder.
Finally, the third shirt is where Under Armour have clearly decided to go a little bit mental. Looking a little like a weird, alternative Newcastle kit, if the leaked design proves to be the finished article, it’s likely this will be the kit that provokes the most polar reaction of the three.
Whilst these designs are by no means definitely final, that the two away kits came from Under Armour themselves at least suggests that they are under consideration. Thoughts?
EDIT: Another photo has surfaced since this morning, showing all three kits on a powerpoint presentation. Legitimacy can be argued, but the kits seem to match up with the above – the only apparent difference being that a collar seems to have been added to the home kit in this version.
EDIT 2: Goalkeeper kits. Under Armour perhaps showing a little naïvety here by assuming Gomes will be the goalkeeper donning them. Different numbers on the shorts and shirts is also a new one.
UPDATE: Spurs have now confirmed on the official site that the kits will be unveiled on the 12th July, and available to buy from 13th July.

The powerpoint screens appear to be real, The product codes fit in with Under Armour’s product codes, a search for the product code brings back a shipping invoice at “http://www.greatexportimport.com/b-p-adi_systems_mexico_s_a_de_c_v/22306888″ which includes this
“1233390-100 Home S/s Shirt 2012/13 4500313679″
the 3rd kit is awful and not only is it the worst out of the 3 but could end up being one of the worst kits in the whole league.cant see many spurs fans wearing that..would be better all black with some yellow on the sleeves or the other way around.the home shirt looks the best but the grey definitely should be swapped for dark blue!do under Armour know anything about tottenham and their colours??
I love the first picture of the home kit. The away kits are fine too, yes, even the back chevrons! The grey stripes follow an age old tradition of plot losing when it comes to the strip a team only wear twice anyway. Back to the home kit though; no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no to buttons and collars!!!!!!!!! If the drawings are the finished article then I’m going to bugger off to QPR.
I do like the home but is that faint cockerel emblem on the back likely to be present on the actual shirt?
The faint difference in colour could be to denote a different fabric that’s actually the same colour – kind of like the mesh fabric on the sides of this year’s home kit. Or, we could be playing next season with a giant cock on the back of our shirt. It’s up in the air.
Well weve already got a small cock slapped on our chests, atleast now we can have our huge cocks out with pride.
wtf
The launch date is 14 July…. according to an email I got from Under Armour UK (blame Agnes in customer services if it’s wrong)
That makes sense as its just before our first friendly, although they could do what they did last year and realease them one by one with the worst (3rd) kit first.
Really hope the home kit is the digital image and not the sketch, like the second and the third can be used to throw at Arsene at the derby, so they all have there uses.
why is the only one with a collar the home kit, but on the keepers its the away shirt? i would rather not have them at all, but shouldnt they match…..?
I would bet that the real one won’t have that, you can never really count on these types of things to be totally accurate.
first kit is simple and boring. Second kit is the best one with detail and effort put into it. The third reminds me too much of NUFC.
However i do like the blue goalkeeper top
Spurs site says July 12th
Yup – already added that at the bottom of the article, put a pointer at the top of the article though to make it more obvious!
As an american I love Under Armour and am pumped that spurs are embracing it. I think it would have been cool if they had gone black and yellow for the third kits instead of black and white to avoid copying Newcastle, plus if you’re going to go crazy with the third kit you might as well go all out. I definitely like the first two, as long as there are no buttons.
So far I’ve been impressed by Under Armour. On the whole, the kits look well designed, and they’ve also been attempting to respond to as many questions from Spurs fans as possible over on Twitter – I think they’ve won a fair few people over already through their willingness to interact with their customers.
You gotta be joking. These are awful. But does anyone at Spurs really care what we (the fans) think? Of course they don’t. The tills will be ringing with the sounds of the masses swapping this mass produced garbage for their hard earned cash. Oh well, not to worry, there will be another 3 or 4 new ones next season.
